A truthful depiction of the subtle rhythm of a common traditional-skill-based livelihood. Thoughtful composition bears the imprint of the photographer’s yearning compassion for the artisan’s life and captures the ambience of his workplace with natural elegance. Excellent lighting lends an extra depth to the visual. We expect to have many more such refreshing portrayal of Indian handicrafts from the artist in the future.
About the Artist:
Somdip is working as a freelance photographer and attached with a photographic institution “Third Eye” based in Kolkata. He has worked in different assignments offered by leading magazine/newspapers, covered different festivals/ceremony on a regular basis. His photographs have been published in different leading magazines/newspapers and also exhibited in different renowned galleries.
