“Dahan” by Soumitra Ghosh using No Catchphrase.

“Your idea to capture the silhouette of the person against the tall, bright flame is brilliant and creates a strong focal point. The composition roughly follows the Golden Rule of Composition in low light conditions, but the centrally placed human figure disturbs the aesthetics.”– JURY.
“ফুসফুস”/ “Lungs” by Titas Majumder using No Catchphrase.

“An excellent imaginative study of nature by looking up into the dense foliage of the old tree, with an allegorical title. Good use of black and white. May try different angles and perspectives for a more creative effect.”– JURY.

“চল্ কোদাল চালাই ভুলে মানের বালাই” by Titas Majumder using Catchphrase “With others’ burden on the back, life is on a ruptured track/পিঠে অন্যের বোঝা বয়ে কাটছে জীবন হন্যে হয়ে”.

“Very good documentation. Good use of black and white, and good framing!”– JURY.
“Memory” by Shibanjan Saha using Catchphrase “Blessing in disguise/অপ্রাপ্তিতে প্রাপ্তি”.

“Creative use of light and shadow, and striking background color that highlights the subject. The lady in the frame looks very uncomfortable as spots of sunlight fall on her thick glasses. The background wall looks patchy and disturbing due to the falling sunlight passing through multiple pinholes on the wall behind the cameraman.”– JURY.
“Jump into the Ganges” by Srijit Das using No Catchphrase.

“Great capture, good job freezing the subject but portraying motion blur in the background, gives the photo a dynamic feel. However, the composition could have been more striking had the jumping figure been not so centrally placed.”– JURY.
“When Past Meets Present” by Rishika Paul using No Catchphrase.

“Good capture of a serendipitous moment! Good theme and balanced composition in capturing the mood.”– JURY.
“অন্তরায়/ Hindrance” by Meghna Naskar using Catchphrase “With others’ burden on the back, life is on a ruptured track/পিঠে অন্যের বোঝা বয়ে কাটছে জীবন হন্যে হয়ে”

“A very captivating photograph! But the frame is too tight; there should be more space on the right to balance the composition, as the viewer’s eye naturally wants to travel there. This photo has a lot of potential, feels like it could benefit from a lighter touch with editing and post processing. Excessive use of software can be seen in correcting the image i.e., much dodging has been done on the man’s face.”– JURY.
Dreamspinner Award
“সাঁঝের বেলা/ The Dusk” by Susmita Sadhukhan using Catchphrase “Sold for a shilling … stale overnight/ কাল সাঁঝে ছিলে প্রিয়ার খোঁপায় প্রভাতে ভূলুণ্ঠিতা”

“Beautiful idea of a silhouette. The centrally placed human figure is disturbing the aesthetics, even though the rest of the composition follows the Golden Rule of Composition. Could have benefited from lighter touches with editing for a more natural look.”– JURY.
“Between Dusk and Dawn” by Pranab K. Dhal using No Catchphrase.

“An excellent imaginative conception of a cinematic frame. Great idea and good composition, but the editing makes it look slightly less natural.”– JURY.
Mastercrafter Award
“Nature’s Rhythm” by Fiza Tarafdar using No Catchphrase.

“Well done! Great use of shutter speed to freeze the rain drops falling, and good framing, but could have been better.”– JURY.
“Burdened Silence” by Srestha Saha using Catchphrase” With others’ burden on the back, life is on a ruptured track/পিঠে অন্যের বোঝা বয়ে কাটছে জীবন হন্যে হয়ে”

“Amazing concept and execution, very visceral depiction of emotions. Stunning work!”– JURY.
“Whispers Of Eternity” by Manowar Shaikh using No Catchphrase.

“Beautiful use of light and shadow, and nice framing to get the two colors of lights on the two halves of the image. At least one stop under exposure should have been the way to go, this light is looking too bright”– JURY.
“আলোর উৎসব/ Festival of light” by Indrakshi Mondal using No Catchphrase.

“Good execution. Nice capture with good exposure. This could have been a good subject for a close up abstract photograph.”– JURY.
“Illusion of Hearts” by Arnab Biswas using Catchphrase “Blessing in disguise/অপ্রাপ্তিতে প্রাপ্তি “

“Very good execution. Excellent capture. Perfect moment captured with the interesting foreground and background. Well done!”– JURY.
Budding Weaver Award
“When The Earth Holds The Sun” by Aditi Singha using No Catchphrase.

“Good ideas, try to explore other perspectives and think about what could make an interesting foreground. Over-exposed sun directly facing the camera doesn’t help, the photographer should’ve waited for it to mellow down a bit with an orange glow towards sunset time.”– JURY.
“Circle Of Lights” by Nilutpal Chakraborty using Catchphrase “Finally… sunshine in my courtyard/বহুদিন পরে, রোদ্দুর ঘরে”

“Unique photograph, good control of exposure! But instead of the frame being “Circle of lights”, it is a scattered pattern created by the sunlight falling on the wall opposite through small holes in the bamboo wall. With more patience and careful observation, the photographer would be able to capture scenes with amazing effect”– JURY.
“A Frame Of Hope, Happiness, A Long Breath” by Tiyasa Mondal using Catchphrase “Finally… sunshine in my courtyard/বহুদিন পরে, রোদ্দুর ঘরে”

“More experimentation with stage lighting is needed to achieve dramatic effect. The portrait could benefit from some light editing. The light showing above the head and on the man’s arm is disturbing. A significant portion of the image is black and it feels like wasted space, maybe a closer crop of the face could help”– JURY.
“Burden” by Subarsa Chakraborty using Catchphrase “With others’ burden on the back, life is on a ruptured track/পিঠে অন্যের বোঝা বয়ে কাটছে জীবন হন্যে হয়ে”

“Good idea, think of other creative ways to express this concept. Maybe showing a persons emotions could help. The frame is too tight; there should be more space left on the right to balance the composition, as the viewer’s eye wants to travel to the right.”– JURY.
